What does error message "The media could not be played." mean and how can I solve and fix it.

It means that something from Twitter or your browser isn't allowing video to play. Try one of this numbers to fix the problem.
*. Refresh the page, maybe the video have been deleted by it's owner.
*. Check your addons/extensions to see if you have anything that blocks videos from playing and disable or delete them.
*. Check your internet speed at Speedtest website, sometimes low internet speed can cause the problem.
